   Annie was having spaghettio's for lunch.  She decided that she needed to rewrite her will because the people she had in the will were mad at her.  She was on her porch and Mrs. Finch asked her if she wanted to help her weed the yard.  Annie went in and changed into long sleeves and pants to protect from bee stings.  Once Mrs. Finch's hands got sore from arthritis they went inside for tea.  Mrs. Finch and Annie played Go-Fish while they waited for the water to boil.  Mrs. Finch taught Annie how to play Gin, they bet with pretend pennies.  Annie told Mrs. Finch about Rebecca being mad at her because of Fuzzby, and they talked about Jared.  Mrs. Finch asked Annie to help her open the "fragile" box.  Inside the box was some photos of some tropical fish.  

   The tropical fish photos inside of the box were photos her husband had taken.  Mrs. Finch had lost her husband, Nathan, a year earlier.  She explained to Annie that he had died from cancer.  Annie wanted Mrs. Finch to put them up on the walls but Mrs. Finch explained that she was not ready to hang them on the walls.  They went back to their card game.  Annie asked Mrs.Finch questions about Nathan and Mrs.Finch asked her questions about Jared. She told her about the burrito game that they used to play. Annie asked Mrs.Finch what you are supposed to do for someone's birthday if they were dead.  Mrs. Finch suggested that she do something to remember her brother.  Mrs. FInch told Annie that it was time to put down her umbrella.  She thinks Annie is using her worries to hide her sadness and then she wouldn't be able to think about her brother.  Anie and Mrs. FInch made a deal.  Annie agreed to stop reading the book about sickness if she would hang up one of Nathan's photographs.

It was the Forth of July and it was time for the Junior Sunbird service project. This year the project was a carwash. Annie was not excited about washing cars. When Annie got there she was the only one in her Sunbird uniform. This made her very upset. Rebecca was ateal not speaking to her because of the incident with Fuzzby. Rebecca also got upset because Annie went into the haunted house without her. Annie's job at the carwash was to hose off the cars with Sue Beth. They played the game I am going to Mars as theey spreyed the cars. All of the sudden Doug Zimmerman shoed up on his bike at the car wash. He was talking to Annie about building an abstalle course at the picnic. Annie asked Doug to move, he said he wanted his bike washed. Annie and Sue Beth sprayed Doug with the hoses. Everyone was having a good time until Mrs.Harper saw what was happening. Mrs.Harper told Annie that she was disappointed. Then Annie sprayed Rebecca and Nodia and ran into Sal's and locked herself in the bathroom.  


    When Annie got home her mom was cleaning. This was what her mom did when she was upset. Annie's mom was worried about her because she kept worring about diseases. She also was worried about her spraying down everyone at the carwash. She told Annie that she was worrying about stuff to much. Her mom told her just be a kid. Annie's mom made her name one thing she was happy about. Annie was happy about the ducks at the lake and how she used to feed the ducks at the lake with Jared. Annie's mom said that she was not going to the lake celebration because she did not feel up to it.

Fish is on board and the crew wants a fight. They pick Nate v.s. Fish. Fish is scared to but nate wants to. Nate gives him a black eye.The next day daniel teaches him how to block knifes and weapons. Fish and daniel talk about allies and fish figures it means groups or friends. So Daniel and Fish are great allies,or friends. Daniel gives fish a key and he finds out its the code for THE CHAIN OF CHUCHAR.

Annie thinks she has a way to get in her new neighbor's house! Samuel hit the guard with a brick REAL HARD. They rescued his parents. They found Matthew on the river bank. They escaped across the river. Abner told Samuel they had to split up. Today I read that Gail spend the night at Hiedi's house. Whatever Hiedi wanted to do they had to do it. Then they worked it out. On Wed. from all the test taking they got Wacky Wednesday. They played games but they had rules too. They were not aloud to raise their hand or the class could do a monkey dance at them. Then it was time for the questions. There were questions like "Where did Dracula live? and there were questions like "Could you bury a living man in Canada if he is from the U.S.?" They had the best time ever!!

Lily is trying to teach Albert to swim.  Lily finds it hard to tell him that they can not go to get Ruth , his sister.  When she does she tells him all about the lies she has told.  The next day it was rainy and Albert got in his rowboat to see the boats in the ocean.  Lily sees him and goes after him because the waves were so high.  Albert hits a huge wave and was thrown into the ocean.  Lily manages to row her way to him and when she got to him she wrapped her fingers around his life jacket and gets him in the boat.  Soon it was time to go back home and Lily knows she might not see him ever again.  When she comes back the next summer she goes to her neighbors to eat and he is there with his sister, Ruth.

All I read today was just getting to know the 4 main characters. Madeleine Masterson is super afraid of bugs, especially spiders. Theodore Bartholomew is horrified of dying. Lulu Punchalower is scared of confined ( tight, small ) spaces. Garrison Feldman is terrified of deep water. Thier parents agree to let them go to this so called 'school' called School of Fear.

"Taste of Hope" is finally HERE!!!!!!!!!!!  Allie Jo, Chase, and Tara( maybe Pamela) are geting ready for IT. When Allie Jo is tasting her food Jennifer comes and has her hair cut like Tara's hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Copy Cat!!!!!!!!! Tara says Allie Jo should face Jennifer. Tara walks right to  Jennifer, Chase, and Lori ( Jennifer's friend) and they moved out of the way. Allie Jo tried to but Jennifer and her friends didn't move until asked if she liked Tara's haircut. Jennifer said she LOVED it. When Allie Jo said thank you Jennifer didn't understand until Allie Jo said she CUT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jennifer was shocked. Then Allie Jo remembered Mr. Smith ( who said he was Tara's uncle) and wanted to tell him were Tara was. Allie Jo looked for Him and found Him. She told him were Tara was and He PUSHED HER out of the way and ran to find Tara!!!!!!!!!!!!! Allie Jo ran after him and yelled for Tara. When she got there Chase ran with Tara. When they got the Meriwether (the hotel ) Mr. Smith grabbed hold of Allie Jo and HIT Chase!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When Chase got control of himself He hit the and grabbed Tara's skin. When they got to the springs Tara got her skin and dived in the water. After that Chase's and Allie Jo's parents came and Mr. Smith went to jail. When Sophie was about to leave Chase gave Her the green ring. Finally!!! 






              The Summer of Moonlight Secrets was a great book and I think most people will like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think you should try it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Try it!!!!!!

Today I red that Annie had a Sunbird car wash and Rebbeca was being mean to Annie. When Annie ent to wash the cars Doug appeared to be there and wanted a bikewash. Annie said yes and started spraying Doug. The director got mad and so diid Cate's mom. When Annie got home her mom had to talk about some things with her. Her mom got mad because of what she had done. Annie's mom talked to her about some important stuff.

The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodes- Catherine-146-177

      Lindy finds out that the Splinder Cat is one of the Procks friends and that she should start thinking before she speaks so the Splinder Cat won't tell the Prock on how close they are to meeting the Whangdoodle.   
The professor and the boys camped out in Whangdoodleland so they could continue their search for Lindy. They find Lindy in the Splinder Cat's layer and sneak her out. The Whiffle Bird kept saying after they got Lindy to the children and the professor to GET TO THE POINT and finally they got what it meant. It meant go to the top of the mountain, so they did. The Splinder Cat saw them and chased after them but he was gaining up so much speed he flew over the mountain. So the children & the professor were safe. They went into the Forest of the Tree Squeaks and ate berries. BAD IDEA!!!!! When they were walking through trying to be as quiet as they could, they all started hiccoughing. They figured out it was the berries they ate before they walked in the forest. They tried not to hiccogh(which did not work) and ran out of the forest before the Tree Squeaks awakened.

Today I read that Humphrey got to go back to the classroom He was so glad to see Og. Mr. Morales gave Mrs. Brisbane a sheet of paper to sign if she was staying at that school or not. Mrs. Brisbane did not sign it because she might have to leave and take care of her husband. Then at the end of the day the Alien was actually Aldo's niece working for him because he was taking a quiz for spanish. The next day after school Aldo CAME! He was still speaking some spanish but Humphrey and Og were so glad to see him.

Lily has just told Albert one her terrible lies.  She has told him that she is going to row out in the night and swim the rest of the way to the war and  take a ship to her father.  She has also told him that he can not swim good enough to go with her.  Now Margaret's brother is missing in action.  They go to church to pray for him but Lily leaves early to hide a picture of Eddie from her grandmother that she needs to give Margaret.

In these chapters Emily snuck out of the stagecoach while everyone was sleeping. Two farm guys found her and put her to work. She got on the next stagecoach to Redbud. Her mean uncle found her and got on the stagecoach too. When they got there they found that a lawyer the judge and the sheriff was there to run him out of town. He ran and Jackson and Emily got to live with Aunt Hilda.

    Annie and Rebecca are going to sell cookies. Annie wanted to sell cookies because she and Rebecca wanted to see in the haunted house. So Annie said that she would go up to the door and Rebecca would be behind the big tree with binoculars to see what was going on inside. Annie said she would sell Junior Sunbird Cookies to Mrs. Finch. When she and Rebecca got there Annie went to the door and Mrs.Finch came out of her house. Mrs. Finch looked at annie's arms and asked if she needed any medicine for it. So  Annie said that they had Coconut Babies for five dollars. Mrs.Finch said that she would have one. So then Mrs.Finch asked if she was trying to spy and Annie said no. Then Annie said that she had to go to the bathroom to look inside. Mrs.Finch said no. Then Rebecca and Annie took of running back to Annie's house. Rebecca's mom came to get her. Annie's mom said that she had to set the table for dinner. When Annie's mom said that the dishwasher was dirty she went over to the cupboard to get plates. She crabbed the last three plates left. When they sat down to eat they realized that her brother's plate that he made in first grade was on the table. So Annie's mom took the plate away and Annie got a new plate. Then after dinner Annie went to her room and her mom and dad went to bed. Then Annie went downstairs totry to find the green book. She realized that it was her brother's brithday next week.    


  Then Annie wanted to go to Lippy's on her bike. When she was out of her driveway Doug jumped out of the tree and scared Annie. Annie fell and scraped her arm,she was afraid that she wold get gangrene. Mrs.Finch came outside to check on her and see if she needed any help. She offered to take her inside and clean up her scrap. When Annie went to go get cleaned up she saw alot of boxes in Mrs.Finch's house. She took her into the bathroom washed up her arm and put cream on it. Mrs.Finch made Annie some tea to help her get better. They talked alot about their favorite colors, animals. Before Annie left Mrs.FInch gave her the book Charlotte's Web to read. Then Annie went over to Rebecca's house to ask her dad about vitimans.  
Rebbeca was upset because Fuzzby had died. Annie had to go home because it made he think about death and her brother. When dshe was leaving Rebecca yeld that she wished Annie had malaria.

Emma wins mathletes. After mathletes, the Mills family goes to the Wizard of Oz play. Sidney hurts her ankle so Payton has to fill in for her.Mason and Jason let the gecko free and it goes under the stage. Payton goes to get it but does not get back up in time for the play. Emma pretends to be Payton and dresses in the Glinda costume. Emma goes up in the Glinda bubble and her sister calls her and tells her the lines.

The big eyes belong to a rat named Brutus. He won't let Mrs. Frisby in. He chases her out and she finds Mr. Ages. Mr. Ages lets her in because he works where she is trying to go. He leads her to the conference room where Nicodemus is. He tells her to wait in the library until the meeting is over. During the meeting, Mrs. Frisby finds a girl rat named Isabella ( who thinks Mrs. Frisby is a spy, spying on them trying to get information about the Plan ). She is not and Isabella is ashamed. Then, Nicodemus comes to the room and talks about the Plan. Mrs. Frisby agrees to do it.

410-440     They finally got out of the forest and escaped to the shortcut. Mr. Curtain and his Ten Men were captured. But when the Royal Navy arrived Mr. Curtain and the Ten Men escaped. When the children got to Stonetown they ate pies with Captain Noland, and Cannonball.

Tara tells Allie Jo and Chase she is Selkie. What is Selkie? Well, it is a animal that swims in the ocean but sometimes they take off there skin to sit on rocks. Tara and her friends were sitting on rocks a man came along.  Her friends grabbed there skin and dived in the water. Tara skin was to far away for her to reach it. She tried to get it but the man grabbed it and grabbed her to!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After Allie Jo and Chase hear that they make up a last name for Tara and dye her hair blond!!!! I liked it brown.  When there done Tara helps hang up Taste of Hope signs. When Tara and Allie Jo stop to shop Chase gets a green ring for Sophie ( Chase does not like shopping).  When they stop to get lemonade Jennifer and her friends walk by Jennifer asked Chase if she could sign he's cast. When she is trying to find a spot she sees S-O-P-H-I-E and almost Xed it out!!!!!!!!!!!!! When they came back to the hotel they start helping for Taste of Hope. When Allie Jo checks on them she see her dad talking to someone. He shows her a picture Tara and says it's her niece and asked if she's seen her. He grabs hold of her and asked her again but her dad yells at him. He says her name is Pamela and she's crazy. The next day Sophie has a cold. When the parents go away the man ( or Mr. Smith)comes back and asked her it again. She doesn't get to answer because Sophie's parents come back. Soon Allie Jo starts to believe Mr. Smith and mite tell him where Tara or Pamela is!!!

Today I read that Rebbeca and Annie were going to sell cookies. While the lady in the haunted house was buying cookies Rebbeca would go in the house. When Rebbeca left Annie set the table for her mom. She had seen that the plate she laid down was her Brother's plate. Then they ate. The nexy morning Annie was going to go to the store. When she was almost off her driveway Doug was in the tree and scared her. Then the new neighbor came out and offered Annie some medicine for her scrapes and Annie said yes. When they got inside Mrs. Finch gave her some tea and gave her a book like the one she used to have. Then Annie went ot  Rebbeca's house and was suprised that Fuzby had died. Then Annie couldn't stay and Rebbeca said that she wished that Annie had malaria. Then Annie went home to look for the big Green Book.

The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodes- Catherine-125-146

      Lindy and the Splinder Cat have set off for Whangdoodleland in the middle of the night. Tom and Ben meet the professor at his cabin and they talk about where she was and how to get her before she was stuck there forever with the Prock! So the boys and the professor set out for Whangdoodleland to find Lindy. They went up a plateau using the Brainstrain(the brainstrain is a train). When they got to the top of the plateau they started looking for Lindy and the Splender Cat before time ran out.

Without Shamrock it would be hard for them to get food, so Fergal  said someone would have to work in the city, and he decided Fish would since the rest in the family were good farmers.  I read pages 32-61. Annie took  the big green book after Mrs Harper told her not to! Then Annie goes over to Rebeca's house. Annie gets Dr. Young to take her tempeture. Annie gets the dictionary to look up the words in the book she took. Annie thinks she is sick because of the book she is reading about what to watch out for. Annie figures out to get in the hunted house. (in the next chapter so i do not no what it is)

At night Allie Jo tries to swim in the cold water like Tara.  She lost her balence and started to sink in water until Tara saves Her. Allie Jo gets Tara a room and Tara thinks a TV is a magic box and plug is were the people walk on to go in the TV. Ha!!!!!!!!!!!  Allie Jo gets pancakes for Tara and gets her out and cleans up until..... she gets caught by the housekeeper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  She gets in troble and has to clean the staircase. Payton in drama class is asked to fill in for someone. She says yes but after she finds out what she is filling in for she doesn't want to any more. She is filling in for a tree! Everyone laughs at her. The good witch is Sidney. Nick who works in the tech area makes her a floating bubble. At first she is scared to go in it but after a boy tries it out she decides it would be ok. For Payton (the tree) there is a contraption that shoots plastic apples at  people. At the end Mason "accidentally" hits Sidney in the back and he says whoopsy and acts innocent.

The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles- Catherine-102-126

   Today I read that Lindy, the boys, and the professor go back to Whangdoodleland. They get on the Jolly Boat and it runs by jokes. So they said about 5 jokes and the professor said that that would be enough to get to Ploy (where their next lesson would be.) So Lindy and the boys went to the lower deck of the Jolly Boat and found this oregan type thing. The professor said that it was a goody maker and asked Lindy to go ask the goody maker if he could have the Sidewinder Surprise. When she asked she saw what it looked like she ordered ice-cream for her and her brothers too. After they ate it, it was mid-day and they decided thay would finish their lesson tommorow. When Lindy was lying in her bed all of a sudden a lion came out from the curtians. His talking was unusual and he was a friend of the prock. I think he is a bad guy but Lindy did not, and followed him into the curtains to see the surprise he was going to show Lindy.

Today I read that Annie went to Rebbeca's house to play with Rebbeca. When she got there she asked for a dictionary to look up words that she had read in the big green book. Rebbeca came down with her hamster. Rebbeca and Annie rode their bikes. The next morning Annie ate breakfast and wrote a letter of what to keep if she died.

It is time for summer and Lily, Gram, and Poppy (Dad) are going to Rockaway.  Lily's best friend, Margaret, has to move to a house near a factory where her dad got a job to make bombs.  Now her dad has to move to to the war as an engineer.  There is no one for her to play with until Albert arrives in the middle of the night.  Lily thinks he is a Nazi spy but while she's been watching him he has done nothing out of the ordinary.  So Lily is trying to make friends with him but has had no luck.  Everyone should read this book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Caroline 55-73 Surprises according to Humphrey

Today I read that Garth got to take Humphrey home from school. When Garth got home he showed  Humphrey how he could play the guitar. Then Garth went outside and took Humphrey with him. Then Humphrey was rolling in his ball in the yard when he got lost. This cat named Sweetums came up to Humphrey and was hitting him around.  Then Sweetums owners called her inside so she went. Then A.J.'s sister found Humphrey under a bush. So A.J. and Garth took Humphrey inside and Garth Showed A.J. how he could play the guitar. Then A.J. ended up spending the night. The whole time was fun but Humphrey kept thinking about Og. He was at the school all by him self and what if the alien took him? Then when the family started eating Humphrey got  a good nap and did not dream about Aliens or cats.
