Lindy finds out that the Splinder Cat is one of the Procks friends and that she should start thinking before she speaks so the Splinder Cat won't tell the Prock on how close they are to meeting the Whangdoodle.
The professor and the boys camped out in Whangdoodleland so they could continue their search for Lindy. They find Lindy in the Splinder Cat's layer and sneak her out. The Whiffle Bird kept saying after they got Lindy to the children and the professor to GET TO THE POINT and finally they got what it meant. It meant go to the top of the mountain, so they did. The Splinder Cat saw them and chased after them but he was gaining up so much speed he flew over the mountain. So the children & the professor were safe. They went into the Forest of the Tree Squeaks and ate berries. BAD IDEA!!!!! When they were walking through trying to be as quiet as they could, they all started hiccoughing. They figured out it was the berries they ate before they walked in the forest. They tried not to hiccogh(which did not work) and ran out of the forest before the Tree Squeaks awakened.
