Marit's aunt finished something for her that she thought her aunt had quit. It was her bunad!  Later, Hanna came to tell Marit that Nazis had stolen things from her in the middle of the night. At school the next morning, her teacher said that they had to close down the schools because of "fuel shortages". And then, soldiers rush in & capture her! Bestefar was acting strange lately, so Marit ran off & while she was outside, someone told her not to leave or she would be killed. He really was trying to get her attention. He was super sick so she will help him because he was for Norway, not Germany.

The Moniter went to Fortress Monroe. When they got to the ocean a storm came!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  The good air turned into bad air!!!!! No one could breath !!!!!!!!  They had to go to the turret to breath!!1 Tom passed out so did some other sailors!!!!!  The other sailors that made it helped the passed out sailors get up. Everybody did jobs and the Moniter survied!!!!! When they got to Fortess Monroe they were told that the Merrimac was all ready here!!!!! She mostly destoryed everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!  The captin asked when it whould come back.

Iron Thunder- Catherine- 71- 98 (3/31/11)

Garrett and his friends helped Tom get away from Mr.Quinn. He gold gave the golden dollars to Garrett(he really just got them after he saw that Tom threw them.) Mr. O'Keefe finds out all about the copperhead from Tom and they tell his mom. They all think it's safer to let him sleep in the Moniter. So he does. Captain Walden finds him in the morning and they sell out to New York, so he can find sailors. They find about 48 of them. Then Tom decides if he wants to really sell on the Monitor and fight a real battle in the Civil War.

    Today I read that Charlotte went to Rhonda's Cut and Curl to see if she gets the job or not. When she walks in she sees Mrs.Contie Agnes's friend's mom there getting some curls. So when she is done talking weith her she says that she has the job and that her parents were good with it. So Rhonda said that they could go over and meet her and say hey. When they got over to Rhonda's aunt's house they ring the doorbell but they couldn't do it again because it takes her a long time to get to the door. When they go insidde it looke nice an dit has old fashioned furniture in there, stairway that had red carpet on it. When Charlotte first sees her she said that she had her left side of her face is drooping, her mouth his turned down on the same side, speech problems too. When they leave Charlotte asked Rhonda if she likes her and she said yes she liked her. When Charlotte got home she went to the backyard to see how much water Beaugaurd had left in his bowl, he had only a little left but all he wanted was a belly rub. 
    The next day it was Charlotte's birthday, Oct.13. For desert they have chocolate fudge cake for her birthday. After dinner Rhonda's husband calls and says that they baby is coming and that she needs you to start the job early tomorrow after school form 4:30. 
    The next day after school Charlotte had to go to the P.O. to get Petunia's mail for her. When she got there she went into her house and she read her mail and then they went to go sitdown and she wanted to read and so did Charlotte but Charlotte finished her book. The book Petunia was reading was a murdurring book, sh egot to grossed out about it. After they read Petunia asked Charlotte if she wanted any cookies and lemonade and she got some. When Charlotte left she had $10 in her pocket.

       Tonight, in the first chapter, it told the history of the city, and entroduced the characters. In the second chapter things got a lot more interesting. A little girl showed up on a horse in the city. Her name was Ruby and she didn't know her parents' names. No one knew who she was, and no one claimed her either. Miss Arbutus volunteered to have her as her child because her husbon died a few months earlier. When Ruby first started living at her house, Miss Arbutus decided to name her Ruby June because that was when she came. When Ruby June was about seven, she started going to school and doing chores for Miss Arbutus. When Ruby June was still about seven, a traveler came to their house and asked them if they wanted his goat. They bought it from him and Ruby June named it Jethro.

It's Christmas time but it it is not as merry as all the other Christmases. The Germans are making more silly rules & one of them is they have to learn all the Nazi (German) language and religion. Later, Marit gets a letter from her parents and she is treasuring it in her heart forever.

     Today I read that Charlotte wanted to get money by raking up leaves and snow for Mrs.Strickland so she can get pade and sell Beaugaurd but Dustin Greenfield got it before her. So Charlotte thought that Luanne could think of something she could do. So she went over to her house to see if she could think of something to do so they wen tup to he room to think about it. Her mom came upstairs to see what she was doing. It was Luanne's mom and dad's aniversry that day and they were going out to eat and goin gto the movies. So Luanne's mom said Luanne's hair looked so good the other day she wanted to Charlotte to do hers like it too. 
     Charlotte finds out a way to get the money to sell Beaugaurd, she figures out how she is going to pay her dad. Monday they were goin gon a fieldtrip to the new shelter. So when they got there she was so embarassed because she came in with Beaugaurd and she was afraid that she might say something and the police with now and will tell her mom and dad. So when they were on the tour they went into the adoption room. Kathleen was walking up and down the rows to answer questions and she saw Luanne, Charlotte, and Grace over at the dog. She said that she remebered them from the other day when they came to get Beaugaurd. Charlotte, Grace, and Luanne went home together after school and got a snack and went to Rhonda's Cut and Curl to see it Charlotte could get a job but she couldn't because she had to have a hair dreeser license to do it. Then Charlotte asked if she could sweep and she could. So Rhonda also offered her to go dheck on the old lady across the street. She would get paided $10 a week Monday through Friday.

I read about when Homer sees that Squint keeps old beaver pelts in his meat cellar and it smells to heaven.  Then Homers realizes that Squint is drunk all the time .  Then I learned that Homer and Harold are so poor that their power goes out most of the time.   Harold calms her down when the lights go out at night.                                                                                                                                                       

Hayden Dog Days of Charlotte Hayes pg102-124

    Today I read that Charlotte got on this website called saintrescue.org to try to sell Beaugaurd. When her parents got home she quickly clicked of the site. Her parents were wet and not happy when they got home. The next morning Charlotte's mom was in a good mood because Justin Lee slept through the night without waking up. She asked Charlotte what she did and all she did was read to him and play with his toys. Charlotte was looking in the newspaper and she saw her dad's ad. She was waiting to get a call, someone called but it sounded like Darth Varder. While sh ewas in the bathroom the phone rang again and her dad answered the phone instead of her.

   When Charlotte got out of the bathroom she heard her dad talking on the phone with this lady about selling Beaugaurd to her an she would pay$300 for him. Charlotte lied and said that this other lady said that she would buy him for $400. But really she was going to turn around and give it to the shelter. Her mom and dad were really mad at her for telling them about that and it did not even happen. Then Charlotte says that she was going to pay $400 for Beaugaurd to(keep.) She would get the food and all the other stuff for him. But her mom and dad said that she only has 3 months to get the money, it is only Feb.9 and she only has till Jan.9 and she will have to pay the money for Beaugaurd.

Amy and Kendra camouflage. When Smokey drove away Hugh was waiting at the road to see Amy.  Today I  read that Annabelle and Tiffany went to school and explored. They saw Nora. When they were in a classroom and girl wanted to play with them.They are having fun.

   Grandma Katherine just looks for The Captain in Kate's room, which he is not there, and doesn't even care about the mess. That was just the beginning...... Tiffany and Annabelle go on an exploration together to the attic and Annabelle shares all of her personal things with Tiffany. Well..... I think Mean Mimi was there and heard everything she said, so when Annabelle was in the Barbie camper Mean Mimi came and said that Tiffany and Annie Sarah were going on an exploration without her( because one of Annabelle's secrets was that she felt like she wasn't brave.)That hurt Annabelle's feelings. Tiffany and Annabelle were no longer friends. THE BEST PART!!!!!!!!!!Nora had played with all the dolls the next  day and left Tiffany and her family in the Doll's house. Kate was reading her AR book when Mimi climbed out from under her bed.She crawled up the bookshelf and screamed KATE!!!!! Nora had just come in the room and saw her. Mean Mimi is now in Permanent Doll State( PDS ) and Tiffany and Annabelle are friends again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Marit finds a flyer that says ,The Norwegian  people's freedom & independence is the first command of Norway's Law, & I will follow this commandment... the duty given by a free person. She takes it to the barn and hides it .  She comes home and is shocked to hear that she can not go to the school she used to go to. So she will go somewhere else.  She is surprised that her aunt is her teacher. Later, her friend tells her that her brother is evil and that she should leave him out. His family is from GERMANY!!!! After that soaking in to her mind, there are notices that are ridiculous that say that they should WORSHIP THE GERMANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We finally learn what happened to Miles when he went to stick his hand in the chocolate fountain.  He dropped the flashlight into the chocolate fountain.  When he tried to reach in to find it, he found a rubber duck instead.  He got chocolate all over himself.  He went to the bathroom to clean himself up.  His flashlight dimmed because of the chocolate.  He was in the dark until he got close to the Cocoa Room.  Then he saw a flashlight coming from the room.  He went inside to find out who it was because he knew someone was trying to steal the secret ingredient.  Someone grabbed him.

Marit & her brother went to get something when Marit meets Hanna,a good friend. After that, they went to the mail place where a man calls out last names of people who get the letters. They get a letter from the family. They take it home & while they are there, a German comes to take their food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And then he says that's not enough food. Marit comes outside and tells him that Germans get the food and they get the crumbs. He leaves in shock.

Amy and Kendra were kidnapped!!!!!   The people who kidnapped them were Smokey and Hugh.  When Amy and Kendra's mom found out they called the police.(the note said not to do that!!!)  Amy and Kendra had stale crackers for dinner!!!  Ewwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!  The next day Smokey started to video Amy and Kendra.       Charlotte's dad was saying that there was dog thief rings and that Killer was probalu already across the state lines. Charlotte and her mom had a talk about how her mom was to upset that Killer was gone. Also how she was tired of buying dog food and it was hard to bugget diapers. The next day when she came home she got a grape-soda and went upstairs to her room and heard a bark, and it was Beaugaurd in the backyard. She was surprised to see him there and her dad spent one hour playing with him. Charlotte's dad worried about how the dognapper got in their yard if Beaugard was a watch dog. He decided it might be a good idea to sell Beaugaurd for $300 to $400. Charlotte had a bad dream that night that Beaugaurd went to a home that they were mean to him. She is now worried about what type of new home Beaugaurd will have. 


     Charlotte babysits Justin Lee while her mom and dad go to Anges's homecoming thing. She played with Justin Lee then he had to go to bed. It started raining and Charlotte began to worry about Beaugaurd being soaking wet with the rain. She got a bucket and made a ruff for Beaugaurd's to small dog house.

     Tonight I read that all of Kate's dolls were trying to make a plan to capture Mimi. All Annabelle wants to do is just let her get caught on her own, when the rest of the group wants to trap Mimi in the barbie camper and either teach her kindness or disipline. Well.... Mimi comes by the Doll's house that night and Mimi copies whatever anybody says. Well, that doesn't work out that well for Mimi because Bobby tricks her into saying something that she really is, but she doesn't think so. Finally they all agree to make a trap for Mimi, so she'll get stuck in the barbie camper and won't be able to come out. Well... The Captain goes into Mimi's trap and destroys it.    Today I read that Mrs.Delenor Charlotte's teacher got a dog at the shelter and named it Snowflake. She said that her class was going to get stuff for the shelter and they would have a field trip to the shelter. The next day Grace was more relaxed and was smiling the whole time. The wheather has been changing. It has benn getting colder. Charlotte was dreeding taking care of Bueagaurd. Charlotte's mom and Justin Lee took a nap and Charlotte took Beaugaurd on a walk. 

   Charlotte took Beaugaurd to the shelter, and her plan was to say that he was stray. Kathleen takes her on a tour around the shelter. After dinner her dad and mom reliezed that Killer was gone. Charlotte told Grace and Luanne the next day at lunch. After school they all went back to the shelter because Luanne said that they put dogs to sleep. Kathleen said they did not so it worked out good. 


                             THIS IS A REALLY GOOD BOOK!!!!!!

Reynie, Sticky, Kate, and Constance find Milligan in a mud puddle. He tells them his has broken a lot of bones. Mr. Benidct carries Milligan. The Salamander is after them! The Shortcut picks them up. Constance can tell Mr Curtain is going to plow up the boat! Kate grabs the timer and runs up to the top of the boat. She thorws it out into the water. When they get home everthing is safe and back to normal.

Miles and his parents had dinner with Logan and his family at the candy factory. The Candymaker asked the boys if they want to spend the night in the Tropical Room.The kids are excited. Miles and Logan head to the Tropical Room with their sleeping bags. Miles says he wants to stick his hand in the chocolate fountain. He wants to go alone. Miles was gone for a long time so Logan went to find him. Miles was not at the chocolate fountain but Logan saw a flashlight on in the Cocoa Room where the secret ingredient was kept. Logan doesn't know what is going on because only three people can get into the chocolate room and they shouldn't be there at night.

   Charolotte and her dad went to a yard sale down the road. Mom stayed behine because she wanted to give Justin Lee a bath. They saw a cordless drill and oil pastels. They saw someone else trying to get those to, so her dad ran and got the oil patels from the table and went home. Her dad got the oil pastels for her mom because her mom always said that she wanted a painting over the couch. He also got it so it would make her feel happy and not depressed. 


    The next day Charolotte and Luanne went to go sit with Grace Walters at lunch. After school Charolotte went to go over to Grace's house. They were in her mom's car and it smelled like perfumm, and fresh. When they got to Grace's house Charolotte was so amazed at it. She thought that their living room was bigger than her whole first floor of her house. When Carolotte got to Grace's house she saw that Grace already had a dog, and her plan would not work. So she comes up with a lie about Justin Lee being allergic to dogs. She thought this story would make Grace's mom feel sorry for her and get Beaugaurd.

    The dolls all try to clean up the mess that Mean Mimi had made the day before. Well... they couldn't get the lizard back in the cage when came Sandra Doll and Sleeping Billy. Since Sandra Doll is so big and so strong she closed the door to the lizard's cage (after they had captured him behind the window- cill). They helped the dolls clean up because their not Mean Mimi's friends anymore. Anyway after the week- end Tiffany and Annabelle returned safely at Kate's house and their friends (hopefully) returned to Callie's room. Tiffany and Annabelle told their parents and friends all about their adventure when suddenly Mean Mimi appeared out of the bottom pocket of Kate's backpack!!!!!!!

  Reynie flew asleep.  When he woke up MARTINA was in front of him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Sticky and Constance were watching to see if anybody was coming. ( Sticky was sleepy and he thought he did see something but then he didn't. He really did)!!!!!!
Then someone was staring at him.   A Ten Man!!!!!!!  He dropped his flare gun (only signal to contact Milligan)right in front of the Ten Man!!!!!!!   Kate helped Reynie get away from Martina  Kate told Reynie to distract them while she gets Sticky and Constance.  Kate got them in the shed.   Reynie thought he couldn't Because Martina was beside him.  Kate had her sligshot ready and hit Martina!!!!!( Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa)!   The Ten Men went though the roof!!!!   While in the selter Kate said she was going to throw up!!!!   Eww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Milligan came to rescue them!!!!!!   Milligan and the Ten Men had a fight.   There was only one person left standing

   Today I read that Charolotte Hayse was walking home from school and she was so hot. When she got home she stoped and thought about Beaugaurd being hot outside. She felt really sorry for him. Her friend Luanne came by and they talked and played, and Charolotte french braided Luanne'shair that Anges tought her. That night she had a dream and thought she could convinse her parents to get ride of Beaugaurd. Her dad and Anges did not agree, but Charolotte and her mom did agree with it.  

   Charolotte was at lunch and saw the new girl and said she had a plan that she could give Beaugaurd to her because she lives out of the city, and she is rich.  They were talking about them going over and Grace 's house and said that she could not go unless her parents had met befor. So then Grace asked Charolotte.She said that she could come over. So whan Charolotte got home she asked her mom if she could go over to the Walter's house and she did not know who the Walter's were so she said she couldn't. When her dad got home she asked and he said that he had met her dad somewhere.  So when she was about to go over to Grace's house she bathed Beaugaurd and used the garden hose, Agens strawberry essence.

So, she starts talking about her evil stepmom saying that she couldn't go to the ball. ( You all know the story of Cinderella right?) She gets mad so at nighttime she goes to the attic ( this is NOT, I repeat, NOT from the original story) & tries on something pretty. It doesn't fit. Now she gets discouraged. She may have to give up the idea.

Milligan, Sticky, Kate, Constance, and Reynie flew in a plane to get to the island (Sticky and Reynie were afraid because they had never flew on a plane before).  They promised to obey Milligan.  They got to the island and heard chimes.  They figured out the chimes were a jiggsaw puzzle and a clue.  Constance tought it was a map.  It was a map of how to get to the village on the island.  The map was also Morse Code!!!!!!!!!!!  The went to the village and found the next clue and FOOD!!!!!!!!  NUMBER TWO comes to the palce were they had food so she could get some ( Mr. Curtain didn't feed Number Two enough food or Mr. Benedict).  They had to watch out for Ten Men (Ten Men would look for Number Two).

Max gives the kids a tour of the Tropical Room. Logan thinks Miles is speaking in a foreign language when he says,  "s'ti elbidercni!" (Can you figure out what it says?) Philip has a very sour attitude again. They went to the Honey Room & Logan helped with the bees.They had chocolate pizza for lunch. It is made out of marshmallows & chocolate!!!!

Ella doesn't want to go to her needling lessons so she dawdles around. She meets one of the doctors that helped the king when he froze. Her name is Mary & she says he was paralyzed on 1 arm, 1 leg, & half of his face. Then, she thinks the prince is not her type of guy. Instead, she likes Jed, the priest's son, more than the prince. He wants to help in this battle against this really RUDE guy that hates the palace & everything in it. Ella says that she would try to find a place for him to help in the battle.

Hayden The Dog Days of Charolette Hayes pg.1-18

Today I read that Charolotte Hayse is not a dog lover. She got a dog and her dad named it Killer, but Charolotte did not like that name so she calls him Beauregaurd. Her parents would not let Beauregaurd in the house because he drooled so bad they did not want stuff all over the house. But even though Charolotte doesn't like dogs she is the one to be responsibly for the dog. Her sister has her first boyfriend, and her dad says that he will get to it but never does, her mom has postpartum depression and never has time to because she takes care of her baby brother that is a couple of months old.

I read about when Abby and Jonathan find their trailer.  It was smashed by a tree. They try to find their parents after the earthquake.  They made a fort with limbs from tree to shelter Abby while Jonathan was gone to  look for thier parents.  Then he saw that the bridge broken and no one could come and save them.  They were on an island and they could not leave.

The Meanest Doll in the World- Catherine- 112- 135

     Annabelle, Tiffany and their new friends set traps all around the room to make it harder for Mean Mimi to attack them. Well, Mean Mimi attacked them Sunday afternoon and created a lot of chaos. They also found out that Techno- Man is really just a regular doll boy( thats why he a living( doll ), and why he is alive becouse Techno- Men don't take the Doll Code of Honor oath, plus he couldn't shoot at Tiffany.) Sandra Doll only follows Mean Mimis' orders if she gives her her blanket, Sleeping Billy only wants to be with Sandra Doll, and Mean Mimi is just using them in a bad way and for them to be in her "army".

Earthquake Terror Grayson

I read about Jonathan and Abby were left in the woods by themselves.  Their mom had broken her ankle and their dad had to leave them and take her to the hospital.  As they were heading back to the camper, an earthquake hit.  The ground started shaking and they lost their balance.   Tree's were falling down all around them.  Abby lost her walker as she fell to the ground.  They had to climb under the fallen trees for protection.  The earthquakes seemed to last for hours.  When it was over,  they had to walk for a long time to get to their camper.  Once they got to it,  they found it under a huge redwood.  It had crushed the camper.  Everything they needed for survival was destroyed.  What would they do now?

Kate, Sticky, Reynie, and Constance come to a hotel (BY THEMSELF). They go find there hotel room when when someone calls somebody. Renynie figures out that they are being followed by recuiters or Ten Men ( they have ten different ways of hurting you)!!!!!!! Milligan helps them escape(he does not look like himself) and they go to a broken down warehouse and they looked and saw a Ten Man gaurding a boathouse. There was a prisoner in there. Milligan tring to make the Ten Man go away from the boathouse so the childern can go and talk to the man. To make the man speak had to show him the diamond. The Man got the diamond but it slippedand fell into the water along with the man. Kate saved him and he tried to tackle Reynie. Milligan came and the man stopped.

The children were on the bus when it stopped. The Sheriff came and took them to the School of Fear. Theo didn't want to go to the school because he couldn't keep in contact with his mother. She made him go anyway.

  Annabelle and Tiffany had gotten in Kate's backpack, but didn't know it untill she found out that they were at school!!! They explored the school to try to find Kate's room. They came back to the hallway and discovered that school was out. So they spent the night there. They waited for the school-day to be over, then hopped in what they thought was Kate's backpack  and went home. When the backpack opened she noticed she was in another preson's house!!! They got out of the backpack and met with the Party Pals and the trolls and the Cutouts. They explained to Annabelle and Tiffany who Mean Mimi is and that she is trying to distroy doll-kind. The Cutouts go on a mission to see what Mean Mimi and her friends are up to now. They are building a train to destroy them and there hide-out.

tonight I finished the book. Hobie got to see were Nick was hiding. And March got to go and fly one of his airplanes at the opening of the airport. And through the fire drill Lisie through away his heart by acsedent. So he had to go climb in to the trash just in time he got his heart back plus the earrings. So he gave the earrings back to the owner plus became Toby's hero.




This was a good book I rate it a 10!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally Ruby gets to have her play that she's been working on forever. It ends up to be great she even gets to be in the newspaper.  Another good part I read was when Annika and Olivia finally start being nice and become friends.

Then they advertised some chips that were supposedly better than Dr.Telomere's chips.  They then act like its treasure under ground.  Then they have a quest and take the write path to the better chips.

Reynie is going to see Kate, soon Sticky, later Constance.(there was a rare falcon above Him)  When He got there He thought He saw a goat the gate!!!!!! Weird? Kate is staring ata the wall and starts to choke!!!!!!!!! When Kate turned around Kate hugged him ( P.S. Kate didn't really hug he SHE TACKLED HIM)!!!!!!! Then Reynie noticed that Kate's bucket had a lid on it and pockets inside it!!!!!!! Kate told Reynie that Milligan helped Her make it. Kate got a whistle and blew into it a the falcon(or Madge) appeared Kate told Reynie She got Madge for her B-Day. Sticky came and Kate told Him about Madge and her bucket and they met a strong man from the circus (and Kate's badysitter) In the morning they left. I read pages 20-93. The children went up to Constance's room to read the letter left from Mr.Benedict. They figured out what the letter ment and they had to get Mr.Benedict's journal. The letter said something about a shortcut. Then they figured it out they had to get on the "MV Shortcut" it is a boat. It is leaving at four!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's 2:30!!!!!!!!! Constance ran away and the children think it had something to do with Mr. Bane.   Mr Benedict, the parents, Rhonda, and Number Two went to look for her and left the children home alone.  The Ten Men came and looked for the children but they were hidden in a tunnel that took them to town.  The Ten Men almost found them but they didn't look wright where they were hidden.
