Caroline 168-197 Way Down Deep

Today I read that Ruby stole a picture from Grandma Combs. Then Ruby said that she wanted to go home. Back at home Rita said her first words since her mother died. On Yonder Mountain Ruby was reading everything on the wall to grandma.Then Grandma asked if she could go to Way Down with her. So Ruby called back home and Mrs. Arbutus said grandma could. So when Ruby got to Way Down she and Way Down had a big supper. The next morning when Ruby got up they were getting ready for Kids' Day!!
