Today I read that the Detective went to the Roost. The detective and Christian Combs (Ruby's mothers brother) told Ruby all about her life before she came to Way Down. Then Ruby had to leave Way Down and go to Yonder Mountain to go live with her grandmother. Now Ruby has to cook for grandma. Ruby had learned a lot about her family life.
