Ruby had a picture from her room with her parents. Granny Butler got mad because she thought Ruby was stealing the picture. Then Ruby had to tell her grandmother that she needed to go to her real home in Way Down. When Ruby ws in the Roost her grandmother brought her tthe picture that Ruby had found. When Ruby saw Cedar and Peter she ran and hugged them. Then Ruby saw a big truck and she knew it was for the carnival.
