Allie Joe found out that Tara is a selkie.  Selkie's are half human half seal.  (I don't believe that.)  Tara said,"That a man took her seal skin and herself, so she can not go back to the ocean with out her skin."  Allie Joe helped Tara by sneaking out at night, and getting the key to a hotel room no ones in.
