Madeleine is so afraid of bugs that she wears a veil and a belt full of bug spray everywhere she goes.  After Theodore's Grandmother died he made his family text him at a certain hour so he can make sure they were all alive.  Lulu is afraid of confined spaces.  She injured her teacher at a field trip so she wouldn't have to ride on the elevator.  In my book in Massachusetts there is a town where they count animals in the census.  This is a wonderful book and a hilarious book that everyone would love.
