Mrs. Wellington died and so Mr. Munchauser wants to take over the whole school but the only problem is Macaroni (the dog) got the school. They found that out when they read the will. The children were going to take Macaroni before Munchauser could get him but Munchauser snuck out at night and got Macaroni first.  So now now the children are in an adventure that is causing them to have to face all their fears.  This is the best book EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
