Surprises according to Humphrey 1-18

Today I read that the class had a special surprise. They got to do a craft on numbers.  hen the recess bell rang early and they didn't know what happened. Then someone in the class said April Fools. It was the first day of April and of spring. Then the fire alarm rang. Everybody lined up but two students went to got get Humphery and Og the Frog. Then a real firefighter came to tell   them they did a good job on the fire drill. Then everybody left school. When Aldo came in to clean the room he was speaking spanish and Humphrey didn't know what he was talking about. Then Aldo left and Humphrey went to sleep.
