Despereaux was not expose to be born with his eyes open but he was. He didn't like searching for crumbs either.He thought he heard the sound of honey but his brother said he smelt honey. He was the only one that could hear that noise.   AWESOME BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEED TO READ IT!!!!!!!
