Ella is having lessons with Jed when she was about to say something improper. But she had already said, "I wish..." So Jed asked what she was going to say. Instead she said that she wished he knew her secret. Well, he did & he doesn't even know her that much!!!!!!!!!! To change the subject he asked her to say her story. So, she starts talking about her evil stepmom saying that she couldn't go to the ball. ( You all know the story of Cinderella right?) She gets mad so at nighttime she goes to the attic ( this is NOT, I repeat, NOT from the original story) & tries on something pretty. It doesn't fit. Now she gets discouraged. She may have to give up the idea.
