Miss Arbutus sent Ruby some magazines and reading glasses for Granny Butler. Miss Thorton Elkins at the Roost, asked to help with dinner. She changed her name to Lucy. Then they went back to Granny Butler's house where Ruby got some free time. after dinner at Granny Butler's house Ruby went to her room to read the notes her mom had written. Cedarhad walked in the Roost and Mrs.Lucy had told him that they were having a prayer ceremony for Ruby June. Then Cedar went to talk to Robbr Bob. Mrs.Arbutas had to call the sheriff.
