Annie has found enough princes to kiss Gwendolyn. Annie went to the castle and found all the princes waiting.  Annie wilted the roses and entered the castle holding hands with Annie so no one would fall asleep.  They went to Gwendolyn's room and the princes kissed her to wake her up. One of them did! Clarence ( Laim's brother) stomped out the room and came back with a witch, soldiers, and  nine of Laim's carvings. The witch turned them into wooden soldiers. Annie turn them back into carvings and put  them in the fire until the witch saw her. She tried to turn her into a carving but it bounced off Annie and hit the witch. then Clarence retreated back to his town.  This book was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
