Detective Holland found Ruby's family. They live on Yonder Mountain. Ruby learned that her mom and dad had been killed in a car accidentwhen when she was a baby. She lived with her Grandmother, after her parents death. Her real name was Ruby Jolene Hurley. Ruby's Uncle Chris and Aunt Max lived with her Grandmother along with their six children. Ruby disappeared in the summer night while sleeping with hwer cousins on the porch. How she arrived in Way Down is still a mystery.
Ruby went to Yonder Mountain with her Uncle Chris. Ruby had to walk up this long path up hill to get to her Grandma's house. When she arrived at her Grandma's she immediately put her to work.
