They are playing a game that can make each other do the dishes for a certain amount of time.  Kate climbs through the heating vent with Sticky and they come to a agreement that would not make them have to the dishes.  Now they have errand day where the parents have to get into disguises to go shopping for Mr. Benedict.  Mr Benedict is still working on the Whisperer.
